Jami Pannell earned her law degree with an emphasis in trial advocacy and dispute resolution from Chapman University School of Law in Orange, California. There, she received honors in Trial Practice and Legal Drafting. Jami was a member of the moot court honors board and the mock trial board. While at Chapman, Jami founded the Animal Law Society, a student chapter of the Animal Legal Defense Fund. Her classmates awarded her the "World Savior Award" (i.e. most likely to "do good" with a law degree.)
Jami has completed 35 hours of mediation training, and is adept at problem-solving
Jami is licensed to practice law in the state of Oregon. She represents clients regarding a wide variety of animal law issues, and handles clinic cases through the National Center for Animal Law at Lewis and Clark Law School.
